Poetry at the Podium: Spokane, WA
This initiative, originally created in 2019 by Spokane Poet Laureate Mark Anderson and Spokane Arts, gives local poets the opportunity to make their voices heard at Spokane City Council meetings. All poets in the Spokane region are welcome to apply to read.

Three Minute Mic @ Auntie’s Bookstore
Spokane’s favorite First Friday open poetry mic returns, hosted by Chris Cook (guest-host, Chris Coppen)! All are welcome to read or listen. This is a free speech, uncensored event.

Central Library All Ages Open Mic
Spokane Public Library’s Open Mic Night, held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at Central Library, offers a welcoming and supportive environment where your voice can truly be heard.
Whether you’re a brand new musician or want to share poetry, this event is designed for everyone, regardless of age or experience level.
Unlike many other open mic nights that are often hosted in bar settings, Spokane Public Library’s event is a family-friendly environment without age restrictions! This inclusivity allows people of all ages to participate, from young poets finding their voice to experienced musicians looking for a new audience.

Neato Burrito Broken Mic
Broken Mic is an all ages weekly poetry open mic at in Spokane, Washington, held 6:30 P.M every Wednesday at Neato Burrito in Spokane, WA.
Sign-up starts at 6:00 and the event is all ages until 9:00 PM.
